Bas.: Pleurothallis peperomioides Ames, Schedul. Orchid. 6: 64. 1923.

TYPE: Costa Rica. Peralta, C.H. Lankester 465. Sepals villose, hyaline, pale yellowish stained with purple; petals pale yellowish; lateral sepals and labellum interiorly blotched with deep maroon. Column plae green-yellow. Leaves dull yellow-green (holotype, AMES; detail of the holotype, AMES).
